Those who listen very well can speak more fluently The Intensive Listening program is designed to increase students' listening comprehension.The dedicated student will notice a dramatic improvement in their listening skills within a few weeks of beginning this course. Every day students will receive a short news tape to transcribe for homework. The homework will take between two and three hours each night. The following day, homework will be reviewed and checked in class and vocabulary and idioms will be discussed. The rest of the class will be spent listening to various lecture-style or conversational listening exercises.
