Vancouver is a fun place to be any time of the year. In the summer you can enjoy swimming, sea kayaking, a trip to Victoria, white-water rafting or a beach party. As summer turns to fall the activities turn to hiking, CFL football, and Hallowe'en parties. Wintertime brings opportunities to snowboarding, ice-skating, skiing, and curling. And in the spring, everyone enjoy a boat-cruise, walks in the park, and even karaoke nights! Throughout the year, there are numerous festivals and other special events to participate in, and several professional sports-teams to go cheer for.
