Learn from the experts. Become an expert In this intensive four-week Diploma program, students will learn a variety of methods used in language teaching. The prevalent subjects taught by ESL teachers such as grammar and conversation will be examined and will be specialized topics including business English and drama. In addition, an equal amount of time will be spent examining approaches for teaching both adults and children. Students will learn how to plan lessons and design curriculums, while being given several opportunities to develop and practice teaching these lessons to their classmates. Instruction will be a combination of lectures, individual reading and writing assignments, intensive discussion, group work, and hands-on preparatory activities. Goals: กค To produce professional, practiced, prepared teachers. กค To provide the most current North American methods of teaching English. กค To ensure expertise in the English Language and culture. Prerequisites: กค All students are required to pass the exam conducted through Robson College.
